The road to no where
Can be found almost anywhere
As usual unprepared
You gave them quite a scare,

You planned to take flight
Almost did that night
A trip into the light
But my, didn't it seem bright?,

As the future unfolds
And you see how life grows old
The same sad story is told and told
You must be so bold,

As your youth drifts away
And they beg you again to stay
These feelings you can not relay
You're not in charge of this play,

Oh no, not this time
Your feelings you can not hide
As they watch you die inside
And they give you no reply,

As there seems to be no end
And as you say your prayers and your amends
While from the beginning it seemed to be an omen
The same sad story is told again and again...
