there it lies,
on the ground
in a pool of blood.
my heart,
the one that you ripped out of my open chest.
there you stand,
with your back to me,
laughing,
with the others.
as i step into the white fire,
no one takes notice.
as i step into the white fire,
i sear away all the pain.
when i step out,
i catch the eye of the one who will become my savior.
i turn heads,
i am radiant,
i am new.
but this new turn of tables
can only last for so long.
because there is a dark tumor
that no one sees.
as it grows,
it silently takes over.
invisble, but controlling.
i am lost to the world.
my last words are carefully spoken to my savior:
i love you.
i'm sorry i couldnt give you more.
i smile as i fall into the black fire,
never to see the light of the upper world again.
