Soul Sister 5/22/04

I lost a sister today,
No,
We werent blood related.
No,
We werent close in age.
Im 13,
She was 23,
Wed never met in real life,
Wed only chatted over the 'net.
Now I find myself alone,
My soul sisters gone,
Lost as a casuality of war.
She was a best friend,
Someone I could talk to,
Someone I could count on.
She died doing the one thing
she hated.
Fighting in a useless war.
Now shes finally got her wish,
Shes away from all of it,
Not in the way I wanted it to be,
But atleast shes happy.
She called me mini me,
I called her big sis,
She was one of the few people
I trusted,
She meant the world to me,
I lost her today,
My friend,
My idol,
My soul sister.

Dedicated in loving memory to Alyson Leeann Laverdeie.
I love you Ali. I promise, Ill see you again.
