A Shattered Soul

This poem is dedicated to my uncle that has been drug-free
for 1 year now..

Where do I find such evilness, lying beneath my utterly soul..
Running through an everlasting tunnel seeking a vacant space,
just to understand--why I ask?

Feeling so good-- inhaling--what wonderful you think?
only deceit for you to believe how powerful this can be..

Leave me I said!!
Leave me I said!!

Darkened by a black cloud staring over me,confused yet convinced,
this is not me just a mask to hover over my weakened mind..

Demised by your sinful beings, devour my flesh my blood,
and just a drop of my soul has been left behind..

Leave me I said!!
Leave me I said!!

Resisting lurking of temptations staying far away, but
yet seem so close..
Grasping with your red fiery hands--burning so scarred
ashes within.....Let it go,let it out,set it free..

Leave me I said!!
Leave me I said!!
