i sit near by you
watching the wind go through your hair
you look back and give me a look as if you don't care

i say your name
you walk away
i yell, "dont leave!!"
but you dont stay

you left me behind
by this old, river bank
and all i can do
is sit and think

i get off the bench
and run to my home
i lay on ground
so now i know what its like to be alone

i want to go to sleep
but all i can do is cry
im laying on the floor
asking God why

the rain is pouring
i hear your soft wisper in the wind
i wish we could go back
and be together again
