i stare in awe
at the wonderous sky
the most compelling
of each and all surroundings
the space that has no depth
until the revealling of night
like the surface of the oceans
it refelcts the beauty held
in each, our hearts
as each enigma plays on another
im left only in admiration
at the masterpiece of a moment
none the same, none the different
if only i could fly an eternity
the phoenix chasing the sun
to see it rise and set
over each civilization
as the colors move, change ,and shimmer
the stars at the tips of my wings
watching amazed at the never-ending scene
the glorious event that happens each night
