Her velvety, cherry lips elegantly kiss the fresh wisps of vapor,
Making the downy clouds blush underneath her caress.
Her gentle smile arouses the creatures of the day into waking,
Birds softly sing to help her with the beginning.
Their voices rise and fall in the unsullied breeze of the morn.
Mysterious mists hang above the lake’s placid surface,
Awaiting the coming of the majestic Sun.

She peacefully emerges from the horizon garbed in pink and peach silks.
Her head haloed by long, tumbling, waves of ginger curls.
Great feathered wings fold behind her.
The tips of the wings are graced in a sprinkle of gold,
Then at the most elongated feathers of the wings is a gorgeous mixture of
lilac and sky blue.
She leans down gracefully,
And cresses the flora life with her moist, rosy fingers,
Dappling them with sweet morning dew.

Her lavender eyes sparkle with love and vitality,
Her aura glows brightly around her body,
Giving her a most ethereal appeal.
It beckons the Sun to pursue her through the path she has cleared.
As soon as he shows his fair-haired head above the horizon she dissipates,
Into the secretive mist of the clouds of Mount Olympus.

Her time is done,
Until she is called upon again.
But for now she rests and visits the gods and goddesses,
For it is his turn to take center stage of the sky for his solo act.
Her solo is finished.
And she will never perform this one again,
Because each day is a new beginning and a new act.
