When we met we knew nothing about each other
Talking everyday to one another
Getting to know both of us
Sometimes creating a little fuss
But then last night you tested me
To see if my feelings were truly the way you thought them to be
Then you said to find someone better
I’m writing this not as a poem but as a letter
Trying to tell you don’t got away
I need you in my life from day to day
I always look forward to talking to you
Now my feelings you know are true
You found out last night when I started to cry
Then fixing all of this you will try
You said you were truly sorry and felt bad
But to tell you the truth I am really glad
I honestly cared all about you
But your feelings towards me were not true
Afraid of falling in and out of love
I guess you just needed a little shove
Because you fell in love with me
Ending up like this wasn’t supposed to be
You were afraid then and you still are now
You’re telling me you’re afraid to express your feelings and you want to
know how
How can you do this without getting hurt
Without having your heart torn out and thrown in dirt
I will tell you so listen close
Tell your true feelings and maybe love you’ll get a dose
So I am all ears
I am listening to you you’re all I hear
