Please Tell Me

The moon across your face
Gives you a glow we all envy
Smooth flowing hair is never displaced
Eyes as bright as a newly fallen snow
Please tell me, don’t you know?

I look at you everyday
Wondering how we can never be
I love being in your presence
Please tell me, can’t you see?

I yearn to feel your touch
But you are so far away
I reach out to feel what will only be my dismay
Please tell me, will it be okay?

I cry myself into oblivious
Thinking of the past
Your voice can only save me
I need to realize this will not last
For I need more than a voice
More than a touch
I need to feel your life,
Kisses, and such
So please tell me,
Don’t you know?
Can’t you see?
Will it be okay?
These things I need to know
For I want you all
Body and soul
