Deafening silence is overwhelming to mind, body and soul,
Far to weak and powerless, not able to take hold,
Crushing ones hopes, to live and dream again,
This blasphemy is creeping up from the shallows within,

Noticing light from the stone, a stone of life, beauty and praise,
A mark upon the life of one, frayed and faded from older days,
Out of the hole to deep and dark,
Thought it was over, ‘twas only the start,

One step forward then I feel,
All my hopes were pierced by nails,
Hanging up for all to see,
Initials thoughts of what’s to be,

Blinded by truth, descending the cross,
Back to the shallows where I was lost,
Then pulled from the murk of pity-less thoughts….

On this plane of non-existence.
