"Looks can be deceiving,"
You once told me,
"But seeing can be believing
If you're willing to let love be
Because love is like vines
Crawling up bedroom walls
It warps itself around minds
And causes foundations to fall
If we stop wasting our time
Just stop and think it through
Focusing on this bloodless crime
As the laces of our souls undo
Then we can finally face reality
Open to the world that was once ours
And see the death of humanity
Killed by our own destructive powers
But who wants to do that?
Really, who wants to live the truth?
Minds weren't meant to focus on fact
'Cuz braincells easily bruise
Maybe I'm too sensitive
Maybe I'm too old-fashioned
But I still believe in the old initiative
Paranoia doesn't outweigh passion"
These are the beautiful words you left
Right before you and I were to part
But we were soon to realize your theft
You had already stolen my heart
