A girl lays down in her bed
Her pillow underneath her head
The door closes for the night
Blocking out all forms of light.
The ceiling, so dull and blank
The now large room seems so dank.
Moving her gaze to the oposie wall
A monster beckons with a call.
The eerie whispers and midnight sounds.
To this evil, everyone is bound.
The way he calls you, draws you in,
Knowing well the cost of sin.
Follow him into the dark,
A scratch left to show his mark.
Deep within the heart he goes,
Empty you of the love you know.
Eyes that turn from bright to dim,
All because you let him in.
HE starts you on a distant way,
Letting you know you can't stay.
Morning comes to show the end,
Of the life you had with friends.
You're all his from here on out.
He's shown you wha it's about.
Control and power he wants to hold,
Should've listened when you were told.
Could have stopped it before
Now your will has left your core.
Emptied you of heart and soul.
Rotted completely of all your goals.
LEARN TO LISTEN.
