Our Love

I want to be different,
I want to make a big discovery.
If I touch the stars,
Would they fall from the sky?

I want to find love,
I want to leap and dance with it.
If I pass it by,
Would I ever find it again?

I want to explore,
I want to find a paradise.
If I sail far away,
Would you follow me?

I want to see miracles,
I want to hold something precious.
If I drop the diamond,
Will you piece us back together?

I want to be admired,
I want people to need me.
If I lose my spark,
Will you relight the fire?

I want to fly free,
I want to scream really loud.
If I don’t talk for a day,
Would you still talk to me?

I want to write novels,
I want to paint beautiful pictures.
If I lose my eyesight,
Would you be my guide?

I want to have flowers
I want to plant a garden of color.
If the scents no longer linger,
Will you re-describe them for me?

I want your love,
I want you to always love me.
If you lost me forever,
Will you remember me always?

You have my love
You have all the answers.
We don’t need those questions,
To prove our love’s true.
