Why is that
Bad things always happen to good people?
We hear about it everyday
And some of us even experience it.
It’s like a car crash
Causing permanent damage.
We don’t expect it to happen
But when word gets around to us,
We stop and think.
Why this person?
Couldn’t it have been someone else?
What did they do to deserve this?
All we get is silence.
At times like this,
I turn to the Lord.
Is this what he wanted?
Why did he let it happen?
There’s nothing I can do
Expect pray and hope that everything turns out right.
