Ode To The Sleepers

Where do you make your bed my friend, where do you lay your head? You
don't want to close your eyes anymore, but you still hear the many
voices in your head.

Your days seem to grow longer and your nights grow longer still, you wait
and you wait for this reign to end but are not quite sure it ever will. Your
body is weak and your mind is tired and you feel like you've been
batteling for years, and all of the pain and the fear that you feel escapes
thee in the form of tears.

The rain falls down and you grow weak and weep and old nightmares return to
you, the death and destruction of your soul begins and you can't cipher
what you should do. Your friend calls to mind the dream you once lived in
and says "Do like you've done before, you woke yourself up out of
the nightmare back then. Who's to say you can't do it once
more?"

You've been suffering in silence and feeling sorry for yourself. But in
truth you've been sleeping in the shadows of sin, you need to make your
bed somewhere else.

Where do you make your bed my love, where will you lay your head. He
whispers for you to close your eyes, and you only hear Him say He loves you
in your head.
