From what you chose
A halo you have placed yourself in

Subdue your words
Control your thoughts
No cause to blame yourself

Within your hands
You hold the world
This world you possess
But will never own yourself

You're lost in confusion
Only told what to do
So perplexed by numerous commands

Want to hide
Hide never to be found
Wanting to find a better life
Life out there waiting
Not by a timer
Time forever lost
Vanished in the world
World we have yet to change
An alter that may never be made
