mmortality of the Ink

Some memories lives on
Much to powerful to die
When this soul no longer ceased to exist
They live on paper
And abide in the minds of readers
They imagine a smile I once had
Tears I once shed
Light and darkness that crossed my path
How much I laugh that night
In a room filled with friends and family
As we recalled on days gone by
perhaps even the cascading snow
That fall that Monday night
Or a stroll along the beach
On a moonlit night
A walk in the park
On a beautiful sunny day
These times lives on in words
When life ceased to be
While I enjoy the afterlife
They enjoy the immortality of ink
