If Night Were Day

What if night were day and dark were morning
and we woke to the moon instead of the sun
Would our energy come from the rays through the window
Our slumbered bodies absorb the prescriptive light
or would our eyes diffuse
to cat-like night vision
or solidify to be of no use
If the night were the day
and the dark were the morning
we would sleep through the sunshine
sleep through the temp. rise
function against nutrition of heats glow
and loose the crisp flesh golden hues
Because our passions come lively at nightfall now nightrise
could our imperfections be shadowed at chose
or ar our moods just heightened-dramatically insized
When night is day and dark is morning-some will mourn
but remarkably favored the switch could be.
