Tears overwhelm me.
Sadness takes control of my senses.
The flickering candle light catches the moisture upon my cheeks.
My heart sinks further into my breast,
Each beat bringing new waves of anguish.
One by one the candles fade to darkness.

A voice quells the emotions within me,
A hand brushes the tears from my face,
Arms wrap around my quivering form.
My head rests upon a chest.
You have come here,
To comfort me,
Protect me,
Love me.
My gift from the heavens,
My angel.
