Pain builds up barriers
Holding lovers away
Just wanting for it all to end
Waiting for that day
That it will all go away

Raindrops splatter on your arm
Moonlight shimmers off the steel
Pain quivers through your spine
Sending you down to the ground

Free at last, the pain is gone
Red rain splatters to the ground
Flooding out your last thoughts
Leaving your agony behind
Free at last
