She walked alone.
Alone without me.
Though I'm here.
I'm here only in the shadows.
The shadows of our lost past.
A past that is now no more.
Yet I still remain.
Still remain.
Remain broken.
Heart torn.
I watch.
Watch her pain.
Crouching in the fury of the memory.
How it was.
What could have been.
Still this is how it remains.
All shattered.
No time to heal.
All time stops.
All is never more.
All fallen.
Fallen into ourselves.
There we stay.
Together.
One.
Never two.
Beauty in the freedom.
The freedom found in the flower.
The wind of our song.
The cry of the crashing wave.
The sorrow in the falling rain.
The redemption in the shinning sun.
The completeness found in the heart.
Eternity calls.
I answer.
I hear her voice.
Full of wanting.
I fall into her.
Then we are one.
Never two.
Never broken.
Found freedom in the flower.
Consoled the sorrow in the falling rain.
Healed with the suns shinning redemption.
Kissed the spinning spokes on the wheel of life.
And again we may live.
