You sit there starring,
Wondering how long it would take for them to notice.
Wondering how long it would be for you to say something.
You muster up the words, but
they don't come out quite right.
You stutter through the sentence, and all you can seem to think about is to
try to keep up this fight.
You watch their every move,
You see their every step, but
No matter how long you watch,
No matter how long you stare,
You never see their imperfections, You never hear their lies, and
you never feel the hurt.
You sit there thinking about how great it would be to just sit next that
perfect person, and
then you wake up, and
remember that it was just a dream.
