Give me liberty or give me law.
If I cannot speak,
take my heart and cut it raw.

If I cannot step up to do,
to change my right,
then I should die too.

How many things will you take from me?
I do not possess very much
so how can you say I'm free?

Indentations inside my mind;
take my pride,
later on my time.

Don't waste my powerful words.
Save your minutes and coins.
It isn't worth what I heard.

So give me liberty give me law.
I progress the power to listen to what I hear.
Even if it means for you to live in fear.

Fear that some day I’ll go too far.
I’ll take my beliefs and run away,
Until no one believes what you have to say.
