How The Tables Have Turned

Gazing upon others success, this jealousy sets in
Fiercely awaking a future demise
Inhaling anger by the second as it's always been
Screaming "Quiet down! Let it go!, Let me rest my eyes!"

Brushing off this envy, hate still rushing through my mind
I realize, following these orders is saving a life
If awoken again, someones tomorrow will be blind
Or set upon them, a heated strife

But, why care for them, why waste my time!
They have never done anything for me!
Why worry about cleaning up their crust and grime!
Let them go, let them leave they are nothing to be!

Oh how the tables have turned, young fighter
How quickly your match has been put out
Hurry young one, grab your lighter
Darkness is soon to come about
