I never meant to hurt you
never meant to say goodbye
But the way things are going
Inside I start to die

It explains all the things about me
That you never knew

Dear dad,
I'm so very sorry
That your so very unaware
but it's not me thats keeping it from you
It's you that just doesnt care

Dear dad,
You never even knew I had a problem
You never bothered to find out
It really seems that lately
My grades are all you care to know about

Dear dad,
I'll write this perfect letter
so that you can know all about me
Maybe you'll appreciate it more
When I cease to be
