Alone in shadow i sit and wait,
waiting for the comeing night,
thinking of how you hurt me so,
thinking of how this is far too familir.
All alone i sit and wait,
in my shadow i rock myself,
watching all of them go by,
passing by and falling silent,
as dark eyes watch them go,
eyes that when you look into them,
you look into the pits of hell.
So they just keep going by,
hopeing that he didnt catch their stare.
But some have stopped to look into,
into the eyes and pass the hell,
looking into the soul within,
and what the see is not more hate,
just a soul looking for answers.
And once they see this they sit down,
next to me and silently wait.
As night falls on the road,
all the other sit down to rest,
i get up and look around.
The others with me are to tired,
to help me find what i look for.
And so i leave them right there,
only to rise again when morning comes.
So i alone walk into the night.
