So much pain and guilt
I lost sight of what I had
Funny how life makes it seem nothing can go your way

Asked myself so many questions
Almost lost my mind
When all along what I was longing for I already had

Yet you don’t know what’s been going on
You still don’t know what I’m so sorry for
I can’t bring myself to tell you

I don’t want it to hurt you or me
Especially what we have together
So in that case will you give me a silent forgiveness

Everybody says you’re the best thing I got
I thought they were crazy for a while
But now I see that you’re not just the best thing I got

You’re the only thing I need
You’re the one who’s always there for me
To wipe away my tears

Hold me when I feel sick
Helped me when I lost someone close to me
Were the one who was there to make me laugh when I got into a fight

But most of all you’ve been there for me when I needed you the most
In times of need I could always turn to you
So please

Give me a silent forgiveness...
