Suicide

Beautiful gems fall from the heavens,
Burning black holes in the sky.
And so I'll take comfort in the lush green meadows,
Atop the hills of suicide.

Maybe I can rest for a while,
Maybe God will take my life,
Maybe sometime I'll find myself
Atop the hills of suicide.

Life at home was fading,
In earnest need of replenishing.
I crawled the steps to inclosed freedom
Atop the hills of suicide.

Here life and love are vibrant,
You can see it in the air,
You can feel it in the warmth of the breeze
Atop the hills of suicide.

Come lie down and join me here,
Forever I want to be engulfed in this love,
But it is for us that I must end it now
Atop the hills of suicide.
