The spark between us is slowly dying,
like the sparkle in your eye.
I can feel the cold winds coming,
it's like my heart's on fire,
slowly burning.
Please one last time-
tell me you're not lying.
I find myself doubting our love,
I wish I could just be sent a sign from above.
I know it's coming-
the end is on it's way.
Oh why on this perfect day?
Could you make this any worse?
Our bond has shattered,
we've fallen off course.
My hand still trembles on your shoulder
when you give me that earth shattering kiss.
I never thought something like this would happen to me,
I'm caught in a hit-and-miss.
It's as though I'm blinded by my own bliss-
I don't want to believe that soon you may leave
And that I'll still cling to your memory so dear.
I'll always love you- and I try to tell you.
But it's as if you don't hear.
