The night sky clear of all clouds,
Laid out on the cool, emerald grasses,
Salty tears cascade down my cheeks.
Cicadas sing about their on coming death,
My heart beating within my chest.
Loneliness steeps into my soul,
Chilling my spirit.
A solitary wolf howls to the moon above,
His cry mimics the feeling in me.
Wind picks up,
Surrounding me,
Comforting me.
Wolves chime in with my lone companion
I am no longer alone,
You are with me,
Thus I fall asleep,
In your arms.
