bright eyes lay dormant in the night.
the sun, it falls beneath the sky.
the stars shine brightly in your eyes,
the seem to hypnotize.
crying cause you know their lies,
they seem to paralyze.
the sun, it starts to rise.
now your happy cause you see the light.
you ran from the world you use to know.
she held your hand,
but would not let go.
you closed your eyes and felt life pass by.
awoken by the sun,
you saw your dreams in the sky.
you closed your eyes again,
and your dreams, like love, they died.
