Longing To Go Home

Our first vacation together,
Couldn’t have been worse.
Aside of no phones, water or toilet,
Was such a laden amount of anger.
I searched for a narcissus,
To feel illustrious and peaceful.
I found all to abate fun,
Along with being too close to dead animals.
Fighting during money-less, foodless, and muggy weather,
At times brought me to want to lacerate my lover.
All this is the tip of the iceberg,
But then again this trip was not so idly…
