My wet cheek is still stained
With you salty yet sublime impatience
The tears that still remained
Despite my futile attempts
To keep you close to my panting heart
And show you what it is to be in love
Sometimes it makes me want to start
To fall into the pool with a little shove
Never gasping for breath again
Holding for as long as I can

But then again you dont care do you?
Nothing ever even mattered to you!

Smack me down to the ground

Everyone was happy in the end

Light bounces off tears in every direction
Purples and blues and reds
I was so lost in your affection
I simply could not use my head
And with every growing day
I'd hide from myself anyway I could
Hide and seek in some odd way
And somehow it feels like you should
Stay with me to help me become better
Despite all this I want to be with you

Look what you've done to me
I wish that somehow you can see
But I can't break it down for you anymore
Because my heart is still so sore
