Freckles fading fast in the night,
Storms lighting up the sky so bright,
Tracing my fingers over your face,
Our hearts, together begin to race,
Running my fingers over your smooth lips,
Your hands delicately stroke my hips,
Looking up at your face, eyes wide,
From reality, together, we try to hide,
Kissing you softly once, now twice,
Tongues moving together, feeling so nice,
Pulling away, you say you have to go,
Turning away, suppressing the tears, ‘cuz I can’t say no,
Walking away, you stop and turn around,
Kissing passionately, I hear not a sound,
Laying my head against your chest, I hear your beating heart,
We kiss again and agree that now we must depart,
Dashing away with a wish of luck ,
Quietly, through separate doorways we duck,
Tiptoeing in, laying down in bed,
Reviewing everything done and said,
From the snuggling close to the “forget me not”,
Missing u painfully, those tears I fought,
Realizing in these moments, a gift from above…
I find in the dead of night I fell in love...
