Once upon a time
There was a story of a little girl
Innocence was her only crime
One of the few she did not commit

As days grew long
and frustrations grew
She found ways to release pain
All so unreal, but so true

She played with razors
and danced with burning fire
She told of her pain and misery
to have the world call her a liar

She carves her arm and slices on the vein
to say what her heart couldn't
the only way to express the pain
So sick and so twisted

Using the drugs to give her feel
Letting guys use her
Only to make her feel real
Only creating more anger

Once upon a time
falling asleep, only possible by tears
Scared of nightmares and dreams
Escalating and feeding her biggest fears

When mommi and daddi hit her
Bruise after bruise, night after night
She never told anyone
Stood her ground, never fight

All the nights she said
"I Want To Die"
Maybe she meant it
It wasn't all a lie

That's why I tell you this story
of a girl who lived a lie
Welcome to fairy tale land
Once upon a suicide
