Don’t you understand
That I am sin?
My blood: mechanical acid
As it burns within
My dreams are the monsters
That scare every pathetic child
Taming innocence and hope
That once was wild
Don’t you understand
That I am sin?
I am the game in which
Purity can not win
My presence could cause
The warmest souls to chill
My power could cause
Bloated hearts to kill
Don’t you understand
That I am sin?
How I have woven blasphemy
Into the thickest skin
I am the fear in eyes
I am the piss in beds
And with will alone
I put bullets to heads
I am the broken light
I am shattered glass
It is I who caused you to breathe
This toxic gas
If you couldn’t see then
I’m sure you see now
That hand belongs to me
That keeps people down
Realize this now
Or suffer forever
My glare becomes toxic
In nice summer weather
I am the voodoo doll
I am the pin
I am pleasure in misfortune
I am sin
