The Eyes That Watch

silent hours, pale in color, who dreams to die?
witness me tonight, as i make this plea true
colored lies, no one sees past my fine lines
traced once, maybe twice, used for pleasure
forgotten just as well, abused, infused, i don't know
dancing in the dark, i hadn't seen what was there
watching me, as i played alone, watching me
when the time came to cry, when blood was lost
and this mind, it fell apart, too scattered to tell
i twitched, i moaned, i lost control of myself
they watched, as my world faded, too confused to be
i didn't see, maybe i didn't want to, but still
blinking in the dark, what was the truth behind?
who watched me then, with those eyes, peering
could they hear them too? the voices i play with
when time dances around silver sparkles and nerves
tingled with senses gone gold, did they see me?
or maybe, maybe this was part of them, those eyes
does a being breathe life from the head of another?
could it be that all i've failed, was all he was?
when i twitched, did he breathe? when i fell
did he gain control? was the blood on my hands
nothing more than a simple trick of his? could it be?
cast out of time, fallen back to a corner so dark
lingering in and out of dreams, dreams that died
no one had been there to touch, to love, to aid
simple pleasures, simple acts, hadn't been learned
flowers blossomed, turning red in the afternoon sun
growing great, growing tall, they dance in the wind
along side me, as i made silence part of my home
playing with the wind, the breeze was my lover
speaking sweet nothing to my ears, caressing, touching
the rain was my pleasure, soaking me as i trembled
hands against sparkling skin, running those lines
and in the dark, the dark that was everywhere
those eyes, they watched, watching me, foolish and young
never allowed to grow up, bleeding from wounds cut
dancing with the blood, the voices that rocked
when i opened my eyes, he stood in front of me
made from the wind, the water, the voices in my mind
he looked at me, with those eyes that had watched me
he touched and kissed me, made me cry, made me quiver
and when i opened my eyes again, i knew what he was
while his lips pressed against mine, i knew the answers
i knew the lies, the false reality, but i did not care
colors danced off my eyes, as tears rolled down my cheeks
my cuts stopped and my heart thumped twice for one
nothing could ever be true, for me, this person cast aside
but i could live inside a mind, made so purely and true
so i kissed him some more, this lover made of wind and rain
and the eyes that watched, they closed for me, for me

(i know its really long but please just read it)
