Note: I thought I'd share this poem with everyone because it was by far
THE BEST poem I've ever read. I didn't write this... I forgot
where/who I got it from.. if it was someone on here... send me a PM with
some kind of evidence and I'll put your name on this. Great job whoever
did write it!
He stares into the mirror
At his own reflection
A tear rolls down his face
Being taught “Life’s Lesson”
He grabs the knife
He will not end his life
That would be to easy
But he must relieve some pain
Why not do it? It’s all apart of the game
Slice, Slice, The Blood begins to run
He makes himself believe this is fun
The weeks go by the cuts heal
Scar after scar left
He cannot tell what’s real
Battle scars left in the war against himself
Hard to tell who’s won
Finally he cannot take anymore he pulls out the gun
One bullet, One Life, One Person, One night
He thinks about all gone wrong
Writes a Letter to his mom
Saying “Miss me when I’m gone
If you even really carried
Put me on Display for everyone to stare
Talking about the man who lost it in high school
I can tell them how everything isn’t all that cool
How your mind can go crazy how you can lose it all
How you can feel like your trapped in the same tiny four walls
Day after day all depression and Sarcasm
Guess it would be better if I fit in
My whole life’s been full of sin
The only friend I have is my Knife
It talks to me every night
Now my friend is my gun
It will take my life, that’s the only one
And remember even though all of this
I still love you and I hope I will be missed.”
He throws the letter to the ground
A tear rolls down his cheek
He is nothing, too weak
He opens his mouth put the barrel in
He prays to god for this sin
He pulls the trigger, bullet shattering his brain
Killing him with no pain
This could have been avoided if he had known
That someone out there loved him like their own
There was a funeral held and an assembly at school
