For years you shared your intellect with me
You chided us, which taught us how to be
Though our fights brought pain, it’s not all your fault
You helped me mold into an adult
I vanquished challenges because of you
I hope I taught you many great things, too
You show kindliness and what not to do
So for the above, plus more, I thank you
