venomous fruit

i let the snake out of the cage
he slithered away when my eyes drifted
straight up to the apple, sank in either fang
let his poison flow deep and then brought me a gift
such a deliscious looking fruit
taste of it and see colors
"hold your tongue, dont tell the others"
and i'm mute
