If You Leave

Here with me, as you are
Sitting in silence, away so far,
Gazing into your shallow eyes;
Dreaming a dream of open skies

The unruffled rain has drawn nearer,
As I glance upon your stunning image in the mirror;
Leaving me forever to endure,
My tainted smile makes you eternally unsure

Clouds peer amongst the sky,
Of this bitter day in July
Rain broadens on my wrists,
I’m still not convinced that death exists

My love for you, ceaselessly true
But I can no longer bury you in this everlasting hue
Agony, will not thrive
To survive my endless strive

My world is here for all eternity
In my dreams, my one true fraternity
My delusions, continuously furled
Life, like a diamond necklace pearl

Anguish isn’t unseen
And don’t you be afraid to come clean
Share your life, every strawberry-rippled swirl
Do understand- You do not have to die to leave my world
