She mounts the hills
And crosses the mountains
As her rays golden gleam
Her presence ever-growing
Though yet dawning it may seem
I follow her
O’er hills and valleys
‘cross streams that flow from sea
her dazzling beauty
capturing me
and holding me at bay
I follow her
Down country roads
Past luscious meadow and dale
And yet I go unnoticed
Though caught as breeze
Within a sail
From east to west
I follow her
Throughout the graying skies
Till approaches deepest night
When at last at rest she lies
