Taken Away

i stand alone,
on the edge of the world,
i once felt like a king,
now i feel like such a fool,
suckered into this life of lies,
i bought this bullshit,
thought it was real,
thought i could feel,
i know the truth,
we all live, just to die,
but i understand it now,
i can see clearly,
so i walk closer to the edge,
dangle my toes off the end,
look down in disgrace,
a solitary tear falls away,
i look to the sky,
and wonder why?
what am i doing,
how am i doing,
why am i living?
so i push myself forward,
taken to eternity,
left alone in solitary,
to die in a peacefull hell,
taken away,
nothing left to live.
