You tried to put up a wall
And not to care
because you know you'd fall
Helplessly in mid-air
Your wall quickly fell
And you were exposed again
Feeling like you're already in hell
Alone without a friend
You knew your biggest mistake
Was to start to care
You wish for your own sake
Your wall was still there
Knowing now this isn't for you
But still you follow
Alone, not knowing what to do
You realize it's too much to swallow
You've tried to put up a wall
And not to care
Because you knew you'd fall
And get stuck there
In a memory
That will never be erased
Now you see you'll always be
Nameless without a face
