Motionless and frightened
Will I ever be enlightened?
I don’t know who you are
Are you the one who won’t leave a scar?
I believe in the notion that we won’t all live to see tomorrow
And like the others, you’ll be stolen and I’ll be left with heartache and
sorrow
The smile on my face said you won’t see me bleed
I try to be all I can see
I try to believe you, but I don’t
I want you to see me, but you won’t
Maybe it’s not too late
Tomorrow’s a different day
I’ll look to my purple sky
And feel my Heaven fall through me
Anything to make me feel alive
Something to make me thrive
To make your heart take flight
They won’t believe the sight
But when the doors are locked and they use the key
You’ll be caught dancing with me.
