Why did you have to get sick?
Don’t you see it’s killing him?
He says he doesn’t care but yet...

He says he does only for certain reasons
He says he don’t love you though
I’m sorry he don’t I tired really I did

I found so hard
Though I’ll still fight if you do also
Him seeing you brings tears to his eyes

And I know he is rushed with old memories
You can’t go you have to stay
You got to sit in the church and see your baby boy say “I Do”

You have to stay to meet your grandchildren
But most of all you have to stay for him…
