Pieces Of Red

-Collect the pieces of Red
Fragmented onto paper
Scattered in an envelope
And please put them back together

Be careful now
Don't cut yourself
It's so easy to bleed
Scratched by doubled edges;cuts unseen
Try to find and collect
All the broken pieces
Scattered in my silent pleas
The hope and destruction of all my dreams

O please take this heart of mine
I wrote it in a leter
In hope that you would be able to find its other
And place them back together
To find the assimilated pieces
Of this dying, broken heart
I'm shouting for release
But I've found that without a heart
It's harder to breathe

-Collect the pieces of Red
Fragmented onto paper
Scattered in an envelope
And please put them back together

I'm so lost
Broken down without a heart
I try to smile and nod
Knowing that I can't return
Because the pieces
Have been sent to the fire to burn
With the pieces go my hope
I draw deeper into this hole
Trying to reclaim my soul
You're my last stand
Only you can take my heart to mend
But it's been broken into so many pieces
That the cuts show through
The shards ripping and rending
My already broken soul

-Collect the pieces of Red
Fragmented onto paper
Scattered in an envelope
And please put them back together

I wrote this note
As an act of desperation
For the fabric of my life is ripping
I need you here
For you have that missing piece
The one that I need
So you can place me back together
Take this broken body
And with your piece make me complete
Be the one I've been waiting for
To fill this void with something more

-Take these pieces of Red
Once scattered
Put them back together
And take my heart over-
