Come Dancing With Me Tonight

this blissful joy is swallowing like merciless waves tinged
with the freedom of love and lust
tainted with the passion of which I have for thee
created with those last sad glistening tears that would ever weep down my
pale face and drop upon thy floor
floor of weaves of grasses from those long fields where our love was
flourishing
sweeping through the air like those weightless fairies spreading their wings
and taking flight into the cherry winds
and the winds of your breath brushing against my own happy face
this smile I have not felt before
fresh and anew upon this face
this scarred face
this face upon which your blessed lips caress
and which your eyes of endless green carve their loving looks into
this face of mine
this face which gazes into your own as the world drips away like the steady
plops of the water falling from a house after a spring rain
we’ll go dancing in the humid air
come dancing in the humid air with me tonight.

i orginally wrote it as just one long sentence, but then thought that it
might make a fair poem.
