it is my pain
it is my body
it is also my addiction
and as i look down at my wrist
i see scars of self infliction
i pull out my blade
dig it into my wrist
and blood gushes all around
as suddenly i flinch in pain
the blade drops to the ground
i pick it up
wipe it off
and throw it into my drawer
i jump real quick
as i hear
a knock upon my door
i know it is death
i know it is hell
for it is my time to go
so i grit my teeth
i close my eyes
and pull the trigger slow
