As darkness folds across my eyes
I slip into eternal sleep
I now know why all men fear
The thought of being alone
For reasons to be told
We all must face the lonely death
Of our spirits tossed
To never love another
To never see the sun
The anger of reality
Is seeping through and through
We can not hide forever
From the dank darkness of eternal sleep
We can not turn our heads
And say we will not end
As darkness folds across my eyes
I slip into eternal sleep
